These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Truckie web platform and mobile applications operated by Eazi Tech Ltd (“Truckie”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under Nigerian law. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
2. Roles
- Shippers create trips, pre-fund wallets, and pay for delivery services.
- Fleet owners register companies, onboard verified drivers and trucks, and accept assigned trips.
- Drivers execute trips, capture proof of delivery, and receive payouts.
- Admins verify KYC, mediate disputes, and oversee platform health.
3. Payments, wallets and settlements
Wallet top-ups and payouts are processed by Paystack. Settlement amounts, fees, and timelines are shown in-app before trip creation and confirmation. Truckie is not a bank and does not hold customer funds beyond what is reflected in your wallet ledger.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to move illegal, hazardous, or restricted goods.
- Misrepresent identity, vehicle, or cargo information.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service.
- Use the Service to harass, defraud, or harm others.
5. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may modify or suspend the Service for maintenance, security, or legal reasons.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Truckie is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. For direct damages, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 90 days preceding the claim.
7. Termination
You may close your account at any time from the Profile screen in the mobile app or via our web deletion form. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State.
