Delete your account

We make it easy to delete your Truckie account from inside the app. If you would like to request deletion without signing in, email us at privacy@truckie.eazitech.com.ng from the email address tied to your account and we will process the request within 14 days.

From the mobile app

1. Open the Truckie mobile app and sign in.
2. Go to Profile > Security.
3. Tap Delete my account.
4. Confirm by entering your password and typing DELETE.

What gets deleted

• Your name, email, phone number, profile photo and password.
• Your device push-notification tokens.
• Personal preferences and session tokens.

What we retain (and why)

For up to 7 years after deletion, we retain anonymized records of trips, settlements, payouts, and dispute outcomes. This is required by Nigerian financial regulations and tax law. These records cannot be linked back to you after deletion.
